What it is:

This is a site for browsing images, gathering information about how a particular camera or lens performs in everyday use, read the blog, or just to post a comment about this site or regarding your experience with a certain piece of hardware. I hope to update the site on a regular basis with some interesting images (or maybe not that interesting), information regarding a certain piece of equipment and, more than likely, some trivial piece of information about nothing and everything.

 

It is about digital photography using cameras with different sensors (I am not biased) as well as using all sorts of lenses.

 

What it isn't:

This is NOT a place for pixel-peepers. I am not a professional photographer and do not rely on income from photography. My equipment doesn't need to be of the very high standards professional photographers demand. I hope to show that lower priced hardware can also perform well. I will not be taking pictures of brick walls to see how sharp the corners are.

 

It is NOT about medium or large format cameras (I can't afford them).

 

It is NOT about film photography or the developing of film (much too expensive in today's world).
